ABOUT GNA

The Greektown Neighborhood Association was founded by a group of proactive and passionate volunteers who wanted to nurture a sense of community among residents and businesses as well as serve as a voice for the neighborhood. We have a board of directors as well as various committees, and membership open to anyone.

Our Mission

GNA is a not-for-profit, all volunteer organization committed to fostering a diverse, green, clean, and safe living environment. We will do this by collaborating with neighbors, local schools, government, and businesses to work on projects that will empower neighbors and create a sense of pride in Greektown.

Our Goals

  • Promote and protect the beauty, safety, stability, and social and economic vitality of the neighborhood by building relationships with residents, businesses, and government officials.

  • Hold regular meetings to inform and engage our community.

  • Support community projects and events.

  • Keep the neighborhood clean and vibrant.

  • Serve as a resource for residents and businesses.

  • Promote positive economic development.
